$62.50 Floor Plan Preparation: Auto-Cad drawings can be e-mailed to
roncox@filingsystems.com. . Pricing is based on the square footage
of the file or storage area. We will verify square footage prior
to producing the floor plan. This price is based on producing
drawings for standard and high density filing and storage systems.
Large “materials handling” drawings be will be priced
separately. $2.50 per square foot. (example: 100 square feet = $250.00
charge) Minimum charge of $250.00 On-Site Consulting: Minimum 2-day charge plus all expenses.

as a salesman, sales management, and, since 1985, as the VP/Co-Owner
of Professional Filing Systems, Inc. in San Antonio, TX. I have helped clients design, purchase, and install systems that
store and retrieve 1,000’s of file folders and those that
handle 100’s of thousands of file folders. I have designed
warehouse systems that totally automated a major hospital warehouse
and designed and installed systems for clean rooms. I have helped
clients create records management software systems that manage small
departments up to enterprise wide systems. Some of the systems sold store guns, eye glasses, pathology slides,
legal evidence, fingerprint files, consumer credit files, mortgage
files, credit files, accounting files, HR files, food, supplies,
tools, ammunition, student records, student loans and more. Our marketing research indicates that a great majority of our FilingSystems.Com
information requests come from organizations that need help in the
selection of filing systems equipment but, they are not aware of
the various alternatives that are available or of the features of
the various systems. Many want to purchase systems, but do not have
access to a local filing systems company. Some just want a budget
price or a price that “double checks” their local vendor.
As a result we have decided to offer consulting services to our
FilingSystems.Com and FilingStore.Com clients. The process will
involve a telephone interview that allows us to gather the information
needed to help us recommend the appropriate system for the clients’
requirements. We will provide floor plans and price quotes for the
recommended system as well as the alternative or optional systems.
With these recommendations our clients can purchase the system
through FilingSystems.Com and the filing supplies through FilingStore.Com.
If this occurs, we credit 50% of the consulting fee against the
purchase price. As an alternative, PFS will provide floor plans
and, based on the clients location, the names of 2-3 alternative
products that will allow the client to solicit “best value”

that is based on over 30 years in this industry and recommendations
that are based on what is best for the client, not on recommendations
that are driven by a vendor quota assignment.
